The Johnstown Housing Authority's Employment and Training Program commemorated eight graduates of the program's 2nd friend who entered a new stage of life Friday.
The event at Pennsylvania Highlands Community College in Richland Township marked a clean slate for the graduates, who are set to seek additional education or work in the Johnstown location, stated JHA Executive Director Mike Alberts.
For the previous 4 months, those enrolled in the program completed courses supplied by a partnership amongst Penn Highlands, Johnstown Area Regional Industries and PA CareerLink.
The program included courses supplied at Johnstown public real estate neighborhood spaces to remove individuals' transportation barriers.
The curriculum consisted of conflict management, task search and interview skills, Microsoft Word and Excel, [strikez.awardspace.info](http://strikez.awardspace.info/index.php?PHPSESSID=c25f1a85c85ebc685dd5e0923af09ef0&action=profile
