<br>What is JSP?<br> |
|||
<br>JSP is the working age payment that replaced NSA from 20 March 2020.<br> |
|||
<br>JSP is an earnings support payment that provides monetary assistance to people aged 22 years to age pension age who have capability to work now or in the future and prepared to meet mutual responsibility requirements.<br> |
|||
<br>JSP will include access for individuals who have briefly stopped working or studying to recuperate from a or injury however who work or research study to return to. When the inability ends, and unless excused from mutual responsibilities requirements (3.11.5), a recipient need to:<br> |

<br>- get involved in or want to take part in authorized activities, and/or job search, and |
|||
- be prepared to participate in, adhere to or differ an existing Job Plan to satisfy the shared obligation requirements (3.11 ).<br> |

<br>How is JSP privilege determined?<br> |
|||
<br>JSP is calculated on a day-to-day basis and is paid in arrears, usually in instalments of 2 week. Instalment periods of less than 14 days might be paid where an individual changes their payday plans.<br> |

SA (1.2.5.30) (near new receivers on 20 March 2020 and stopped on 20 September 2020). |

BVA (near to new recipients on 20 March 2020 and ceased when all existing recipients completed their bereavement duration). |

WA (1.2.3.30) (near new recipients on 1 July 2018 and ceased on 1 January 2022). |
|||
WP (1.2.3.20) (near to new receivers on 1 July 1995 stopped on 20 March 2020). |
|||
PA (1.2.2.10) (closed to brand-new recipients on 20 September 2003 stopped on 1 January 2022). |
